Tattering Lace Making

Cathy Levin learned the fiber art of "Tattering" from the ladies of the thread mill. Tattering is a variation of "Filet Crochet or picture lace". Class size limited to 6. No Materials Fee.

Bobbin Lace Making

Member of the New England Lace Group, Clare Settle, will teach the elegant craft of making Bobbin Lace. Bobbin lace (pillow lace) takes its name from the way it is made: on a firm pillow to which a pricked-out pattern is tacked and each twist or cross of the bobbins is held in place by a pin. Workshop participants will practice the craft and make a piece of lace to take home. Class size limited to 6. No Materials Fee.
