Norwich Blanket Drive 2010It's August and the blanket drive has begun with 32 blankets and afghans collected this first week! Have you checked your closets? The boxes in the attic? The plastic bins in the basement? Wanted Blankets!!All donations must be clean. For distribution to area people shelters and animal rescues this winter.
BRING YOUR DONATION TO THE LEFFINGWELL HOUSE MUSEUM FROM NOON TO 4 PM - All SATURDAYS IN AUGUST New and lightly used towels are needed at the shelters. Animal pounds, shelters and rescues need those well used, stained but clean towels. Receiving blankets can be re-purposed to help keep puppies and kittens warm. What else is needed? If you have animal feed thats not your pets favorite, there is probably a shelter close by that would be grateful for the donation. Don't hesitate to ask your friends, neighbors, customers, employers or to set up a collection box there is plenty of time. Thank you for making a difference!
