Smith" will be used as a text for National Endowment for the Humanities 2007 Landmarks of American History Culture workshop for schoolteachers "Beyond Amistad: The African American Struggle for Citizenship 1770-1850 June 17-22 and July 22-27, 2007 at Yale University at the Gilder Lehrman Center for the Study of Slavery, Resistance, and Abolition.
