The institution has always worked to rehabilitate seal and release them back to the wild. This year's effort is an extension of an extraordinary body of work on behalf of these beautiful creatures and all of the ocean's inhabitants. The region is lucky to have this fine aquarium. Sunday was Earth Day and all across the region residents gathered to do their part to help the environment. Organizations such as the Leffingwell House Museum and the America in Bloom Committee gathered to pick up trash in Norwich. Little efforts such as these can have tremendous impact. These efforts deserve applause from us all. |
