April 18: Leffingwell OPENING Day, General George Washington visits Norwich. Visit with Gen. Washington, taste Colonial Chocolate. Living History on the grounds
May 2: Joseph Carpenter Silversmith Shop Opening Day & Market Day on the Green, A clockmaking demo by Daniel Burnap. On the Green experience Colonial Market & gathering day
May 16: Meet Mary Leffingwell, nurse in the town of Norwich, discover remedies from the 1700’s.
June 3: Wed  5:30pm, Otis Library 261 Main St.  Norwich Founders 125th Meeting, in partnership with Otis Library, approval of Leffingwell board of managers 2026-28, ‘When History Speaks’ presents the History of Leffingwell House, refreshments, Free
June 13: CT Open House Day, a free tour of the main floor at both museums, Mary Leffingwell returns to Leffingwell, Joseph Carpenter will be at the Silversmith Shop
July 4: Sat. Calling all Patriots to Leffingwell, 10am the 13 star Flag raising, 10:30am reading of the Declaration of Independence, then signing. Presentation on the battle of NY & White Plains. ORIGINAL Rev. war documents on display.
Aug. 8: Maritime Living Historyenjoy a display of 1812 Shipping papers, 2 original whaling journals + speak with a Whaling Captain’s wife  &  the blacksmith from a whaling ship, 
Sept. 19: Annual Return of Benedict Arnold! Learn about both sides of the infamous Benedict, 11:30 & 1:30 presentations by Benedict Arnold & General Washington, remarks by Ethan Allen, & witness from Arnold’s court martial; display of Arnold history. 1pm The Flock Theatre of New London 11th delivery of Arnold’s coffined ‘patriot leg’ to Norwich Mayor
Oct. 3: 367th Anniversary of the Founding of Norwich. Plus Opening of Scarecrow Garden!
